Tackers, also known as staplers, are hand-held tools used for fastening materials together using staples. They consist of a casing that houses a spring-loaded mechanism and a magazine for holding staples. The user loads the staples into the magazine and then presses the tacker against the material to be fastened. When the trigger is pulled, the spring-loaded mechanism drives a staple through the material and into a surface below it, securing the two materials together.
