The Tekton 90-Degree Hook is made from AISI 8650 steel hardened to 50–54 HRC and bent to shape. Two wings on the base of the shank help it resist being twisted or pulled out of the handle during use. Made from glass-reinforced nylon, the handle is resistant to fuels, oils, and chemicals. Like other products in Tekton's pick, hook, and mini pry bar family, the 180-degree Hook is made entirely in Michigan with only USA-sourced materials. Machining, bending, coining, handle molding, and press-fitting the handle and shank take place at our Grand Rapids, Michigan manufacturing facility.
