The shank diameter is reduced so the insulation can be molded flush with the tip, giving you access to screws in narrow, recessed holes. The front of the handle is round for quick turning and the middle transitions to a tri-lobe shape that provides a secure grip for high-torque driving. The handle's red exterior is made of a lightly textured TPE material that resists most common shop chemicals and is slightly soft and grippy for controlled spinning, fine adjustments, and reduced slipping under torque. Each driver has the tip size engraved in three locations with high-contrast laser markings. The end of the shank is flattened to form a broad surface that resists twisting inside the handle.
