These stubby wrenches have a shorter handle than full-size combination wrenches for increased versatility and access into tight spaces. The 12-point box end doubles the available access angles compared to a 6-point end. In order to prevent rounding off fasteners, the box end is designed to contact and apply force to the sides of the fastener head and not the corners. The 15-degree offset box end creates clearance for your fingers and makes it easier to reach around obstructions.
