B&N Pro – Account Deletion Request

This page explains how users of the B&N Pro app, developed by BoltsandNuts.com, can request the deletion of their account and data in compliance with Google Play requirements.


How to Request Account Deletion

If you would like to request deletion of your B&N Pro account, please send an email to:

Your email must include:

  • The subject line: “B&N Pro Account Deletion Request”
  • Your full name or business name
  • The email address associated with your B&N Pro account
  • Your reason for requesting deletion (optional)

Once your request is received, our team will confirm your identity and begin deletion processing.


What Data Is Deleted

When you submit an account deletion request and return the rented tablet associated with your account, the following information will be permanently removed:

  • All scanned part history
  • All in-app activity history
  • All data stored on the rented tablet
  • All information saved locally by the B&N Pro app
  • All settings, preferences, and reorder data stored in-app

These deletions occur after the tablet has been returned to BoltsandNuts.com and verified for data removal.


What Data Is Retained

Certain data cannot be deleted immediately due to legal, financial, or operational requirements. The following information may be retained:

  • Billing and invoice history (required for financial and tax records)
  • Transaction logs including subscription payments
  • Email address stored for fraud prevention or chargeback verification
  • Any information tied to your Shopify customer account

This data is retained for compliance with U.S. financial laws, tax regulations, and fraud prevention standards.


Retention Period

The following retention periods apply:

  • Financial and billing records: Retained for up to 7 years (legal requirement).
  • Fraud prevention and security logs: Retained for up to 90 days.
  • Shopify-linked customer account data: Retained until your Shopify account itself is deleted through Shopify’s system.

All other non-required data is deleted immediately after your request and the return of your rented tablet.


Processing Time

Most account deletion requests are fully processed within 7–14 business days after identity verification and the return of the rented tablet.
